Description

About This CoffeeBuku Abel – Ethiopia Natural Guji is a coffee with a story as remarkable as its flavor. Grown in the highlands of Hambela Wamela, Guji Zone, at 1,900–2,300 meters, this natural-process coffee showcases Ethiopia’s heirloom varietals at their finest.Buku Abel has been recognized in competitions like the Taste of Harvest, where it first entered the regional finals as Ethiopia’s national champion, finishing runner-up by a narrow margin. The following year, it returned to claim regional champion, cementing its status as one of Ethiopia’s finest natural coffees.Carefully hand-picked and sun-dried on African raised beds for nearly three weeks, the cherries undergo slow fermentation under the highland sun, concentrating sugars and aromatics deep into the beans. The result is a coffee with intense fruit clarity, a lush body, and layered complexity, capturing the sun, soil, and highland terroir of Guji in every cup.Tasting NotesExpect a cup that balances bold intensity with elegant finesse:Aromas: Blueberry jam, ripe strawberry, sun-kissed peach, with hints of bergamot and orange blossom.Flavors: Purple grape candy, dried mango, and juicy peach, accented by bright citrus notes of lemon peel and bergamot.Finish: Smooth, lingering, and floral — a highland elegance that stays long after the last sip.The cup moves beautifully from fruit-forward and bold → to delicate, floral, and citrusy, offering a multi-dimensional, award-winning coffee experience. Why You'll Like ItAward-winning pedigree: Recognized at Taste of Harvest competitions.Rare and prestigious: Limited G1 lot from the highlands of Guji.Bold, complex, and expressive: Bursting with berries, tropical sweetness, and bright citrus, balanced by floral undertones.A journey in every cup: Taste the sun, soil, and highland air of Guji with every sip.DetailsCountry: EthiopiaRegion: Hambela Wamela, Guji, Oromia HighlandsAltitude: 1,900–2,300 maslProcess: African Raised-Bed NaturalVarietal: Ethiopian HeirloomRoast: MediumTasting Notes: Blueberry Jam, Strawberry, Peach, Bergamot, Orange BlossomGrind SizeGround (FINE): Moka potGround (Medium): V60 Filter, Aeropress, Chemex, drip coffeeGround (Coarse): French Press/Cold BrewAre your beans fresh? We roast our coffee,- Daily- Guaranteed to be shipped out to you within 14 days from the roast date- Our customers are our pride and joy, and we value you, so let us know if you have any questions.Worried about HALAL-certified?
